1. Introduction

BigBurry Hypersystems (“BigBurry,” “we,” or “our”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information through our digital election platform, QuickVote, which is available via web browsers, Android and iOS applications, and related digital interfaces.

By accessing or using QuickVote, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and processing of your data as described herein.

This policy applies to all users — including election organizers, candidates, and voters — and covers all interactions within the QuickVote ecosystem, globally.

If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you should immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2. Scope and Purpose

This Privacy Policy governs all personal data that BigBurry collects, processes, or stores in connection with the operation of QuickVote.

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Clearly define how we collect and handle personal information.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments in India, GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other global standards.

  • Demonstrate our commitment to user transparency and data security.

3. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimal data necessary to operate the platform effectively.
QuickVote’s data collection can be categorized as follows:

3.1. User-Provided Data

When you create or participate in an election, you may provide:

  • Full Name (for identification and election validation).

  • Email Address (for account verification and communication).

  • Phone Number (for one-time password verification, where applicable).

  • Organization / Institution Name (if you represent an entity).

  • Candidate Information (if you register as a candidate, such as name, biography, and optional description).

We do not collect or store sensitive identifiers such as national ID numbers, government-issued IDs, or passwords other than encrypted authentication tokens.

3.2. Election-Related Data

To conduct elections securely, QuickVote processes the following:

  • Ballot information, such as candidate names and positions.

  • Vote records, stored in encrypted, anonymized form.

  • Election metadata, such as election title, start and end times, and participation count.

Votes themselves are completely anonymized — they cannot be traced back to individual voters.

3.3. Technical and Service Data

We do not store IP addresses, device identifiers, or browser fingerprints.

However, for technical reliability and fraud prevention, our service partners (Google Analytics, Firebase, and AWS) may temporarily log system events such as:

  • General performance metrics (e.g., request load, uptime).

  • Aggregate location or session statistics.

  • Error reports or crash logs.

These logs are stored without personally identifiable data and used only for operational maintenance.

3.4. Payment Data

If you make a payment for a private election, you will be redirected to Razorpay, our trusted payment gateway.
Razorpay may collect:

  • Cardholder name

  • Payment instrument details (UPI, card, or wallet info)

  • Transaction ID and status

BigBurry does not store or process full payment information. All payment data is securely handled by Razorpay under PCI DSS compliance.
